20 Time 1: Preparing For My Project

Today I researched negative effects of stress.  I will use this information in my elevator pitch to get others to want to relieve their stress.  I will also mention that improving your stress makes your body healthier.  During my presentation, I would like to ask other students to participate in my studies.  I need as many test subjects as I can get in order for the data to be as accurate as possible.  Before next Wizard Wednesday, I would like to have tested two stress relieving techniques because two weeks will have passed.  I found that drinking black tea and chewing gum have shown to have improved stress levels.  However I would like to test it before recommend it.

Today I started to look at what a typical golfer in college does in their golf game and why coaches want their players that are able to  do these things. I learned about how far a girl typically hits the ball, how many putts per rounds, and scramble percentage. All this information will be useful to help me to start my project on the actually sport, the main skills you need to have to be able to play in college.

The song I am learning currently is a bit more challenging than those I have learned previously, but when I have it down, it will sound pretty good and go along nicely with what I’m planning for my medley.

20 Time Update- Hannah Bornhoft


Today I learned more about the Japanese language itself. I learned there is hiragana, kantan kana, and  the kanji alphabet. I will use this information because I have to decide which alphabet to learn to write. I learned that hiragana and kantan kana go together and they are easier than kanji, so I will most likely learn to write hiragana and kantan kana. I felt like I learned a lot today and I am starting to feel more comfortable with learning to write in Japanese.

20 Time Update - Katelyn Miller

I will use this information as a basis for common mistakes and explaining the fear. This will be a good opener into more research and ways to prevent these things. This will be a good way to explain what I am researching and why I am researching it.

20 time project

This week, I chose what I wanted to accomplish with this 20 time project. I decided that I am going to learn how to become a photographer later in life, and how to take good pictures of things right now.

Mindfulness Meditation Exploration - W1


Today, our goal was to examine the basics of mindfulness meditation so we could move on to why we should do it, how we can do it, and how it was after we did it. We can use this basic information as a platform to build off of as we explore mindfulness meditation more in depth.
